Lilly Sale and Back to School

Hey Y'all! This week has been so long! I started back school this week, I am now a Sophmore. My school is huge! We have over 3300 students and 965 students in the freshman class. I think this year is going to be really good!

Soooo as most of you know Lilly Pulitzer is having their major sale! Everything is so cheap for Lilly! I can't wait to get In what I ordered so I can show y'all. Who all has shopped the sale?

Disney World

For those of you who know me know I LOVE Disney World! Last October when my family went I started to cry when we were walking down Main Street towards Cinderella's Castle because I was so happy and excited. I have already planned my Senior Trip to Disney World! I planned my family's last trip to Disney World. We had so much fun! Right now I am craving Disney World (which isn't out of the ordinary for me). I would love to go to Disney for Christmas one year. I have stayed at the Port Orleans  Resort and the Wilderness Lodge. Next time we go I'd like to stay at the Contemporary Resort, so I can see Cinderella's Castle from my hotel room. I get chilled thinking about going to Disney World! Have you ever been to Disney World? If so what is your favoirte thing to do there?

Olympics 2012!

Yay, the time has finally arrived the 2012 London Olympics start today! I love the Olympics and one day would love to go watch them. The opening ceremonies are always so amazing but sadly tomorrow night I have a play so I'll have to DVR them to watch when I get home. I've already downloaded the Offical Olympic app on to my iPad so I can stay up to speed on everything that is going on. I really don't have a favorite sport to watch, I love watching all of them. I do love watching diving and swimming though. The olympics is one time when suddenly all of America is rooting for the same team... Go Team USA, Bring Home The Gold!

Wedding Wednesdays

I am love weddings! My dream career would be to plan weddings and events. So, I want to share my passion for weddings with you every Wednesday!

This Wednesday I'm going to talk about what most girls would say is one of the most important parts of their wedding day....The Dress! No two girls are exactly alike so every girl is going to have a different wedding dress that best fits their body, the time of year, and their wedding venue. When shpooing for a wedding gown NEVER buy your gown online, you are not the model in the picture and what looks amazing on the model might not look quite as amazing on you.

Every Friday night I love watching BrideDay on TLC. But it does bug me that brides will bring 15 friends with them, it is almost impossible to get 15 girls to all like one dress because everyone has their own unique style so it only hurts the bride when she bring so many "friends". Another thing about those shows is that Brides will not get the gown they love because one friend doesn't like it. It is YOUR day get the dress YOU love when your friends get married they can get what ever dress they want. They have no right to keep you from your dream dress because they wouldn't wear it.

I know that is has been a kind of long post but if you take any thing from it take these tips...

1. Don't bring a huge group of girls to go dress shopping, bring two or three people close to you
2. Stay Strong! If the people you are with hate the dress but you love it let them know and speak up for yourself
3. If you find a dress you love but don't cry it is okay.
4. Think about your wedding venue when trying on dresses. (If you are getting married on the beach in July a dress with a long train may not be the way to go)
5. Don't worry about how many dresses you have tried on. For some girls they fall in love with the first one, for others it's the twenty-first one.
